THOSE APPLYING ON BEHALF OF THE CHARTERED COMPANIES

1) Free
Zone Activity License Application Forms are obtained
from IDESBAS and are filled out. An application fee
at an amount of 5,000 US$ is deposited into the Republic
of Turkey Central Bank Free Zones Development Fund account
in the name of the company to be established.

2) Duly completed application form is annexed
to a presentation letter of one page long, which describes
the applicant company and the operations it shall carry
out in the free zone. The statement of the account received
from the Central Bank in return for the deposit of US
$ 5. 000 and the draft charter of the company together
with the signature circulars of the company partners
are attached. In case it is a company to be founded
with foreign capital, an application is submitted to
Foreign Investment General Directorate. (The same procedure
is applicable to such companies in the Free Zone as
for those to be established with foreign capital in
other parts of Turkey). All of the afore said documents
are submitted to Free Zones General Directorate either
delivery by postage or in person. |

3) Following
the "appropriateness document" arriving from
the Free Zones General Directorate, a document is sent
to the Trade Registration Directorate by IDESBAS, confirming
that the firm will carry out activities at the Menemen
LEATHER Free Zone. |

4) Following
the receipt of the "Qualified" document sent
by the Free Zones General Directorate, IDESBAS writes
a letter addressed to the Trade Registry Directorate,
confirming that the so-called company shall operate
in Menemen Leather Free Zone. |

5)
Following the submission of the Trade Registry Gazette,
which officially declares the charter of the company
(or the document which confirms that it shall appear
on the Gazette) to IDESBAS authorities by the company
representative, the lease contract is signed (within
in 30 days after the receipt of the "Qualified"
document). |

6) Following
its approval by the Menemen LEATHER Free Zone Directorate,
the contract is sent to the Free Zones General Directorate
by IDESBAS. |

7) The accounting
books required to be kept in accordance with the Law
on Taxation Procedures are duly obtained and notarized. |
|
8) The Free Zone
invoicing is duly printed in accordance with the specimen
provided by IDESBAS. |
|
9) Once the operating
license is received, the company representative submits
the accounting books and invoices to the Menemen LEATHER
Free Zone Directorate for approval. |

10)
Following the approval, company can start operations
and invoicing in the zone. |
