Waste water released from the surrounding factories are collected in the wastewater treatment plant present in our free zone. There are three different pipelines, each of which separately conveys one type of wastewater discharged, categorized as miscellaneous, containing sulphur or chromium. During the treatment process, polluted wastewater of 8000 COD is refined down to 250 COD and then discharged into the sea.

Today our treatment facility works with a capacity of 18.000 m3/day. Solid waste in the region are collected by İDESBAŞ.

The treatment process in the system is performed through physical, biological and chemical stages.
